I’ve been eye balling this machine at work for the past 6 years at work it’s sat unused.

They finally figured it’s time to start selling off un-used equipment and I put in an offer of $500.

Is this machine worth that price used? It’s been there as long as I’ve worked here 9 years.

From what the Carpentry foreman told me they put it away because everyone kept messing with the adjustments and throwing it out of wack. I’ve yet to pull it out and hear it run but from what I’ve been told it still works well.

I’m planning on offering the $500 if all is good.

Is there anything I should look for?

That should be a great deal if something’s not broken that’s not allowing it to keep adjustment properly. Check to make sure nothing is bent on it and the table moves smoothly up and down.

Its worth all of $500. I recently sold one in worse shape than that for $850. They are nice enough machines if you can get past the belt tracking flaws and if your bevel gears hold up on the table raising mechanism.

Have your say...
