With all the snow we’ve had I was getting cabin fever, so I went out and shoveled the driveway. This morning it warmed up to 17 and I lit the smoker, put in some whiskey barrel white oak and some hickory chips, a big pork butt with a home made dry rub, and am now waiting. Cook it low and slow. Oh, the temp now is about 22.

Wow, I wish I could do that when we have all the snow we have… But I’m missing a few things: 1) smoker 2) whiskey barrel white oak 3) hickory chips 4) pork butt 5) know how… Although I do have 37” of packed snow in the back yard after getting 25.5” last sunday, and 16” Wednesday. And with all this time, no space to work in the shop!

Jim I would gladly trade you if I could, I can always put another butt in the smoker.

Andy we don’t have near the snow you have and boy am I glad.
