Has anyone used this before? I did a search on LJ and didn’t find anything, and I also looked on bing and google. I couldn’t find pictures, but I sure want some.

Here is a link to States Industries who makes Armorcore. It is basically a new MDF .

Thanks John,

I sure wish I could find a photo. From what I understand this like a veneer core plywood, but before the final face is applied, MDF goes on top. So it’s like this,

Face
MDF
Wood Veneer
Wood Veneer
Wood Veneer
MDF
Face

Matt, here is a link that will direct you to a PDF that will show you a drawing of the layers and a description of AmorCore.

Hey you found it! Thanks John!

I think I want some of that Apple Ply too, for jigs, etc.
