I recently came into a used powermatic 083 combination sander, the dark yellow paint scheme. I’m hoping to locate a owner/operators manual for it. While operating the sander is fairly straight forward, I like having the part breakdown illustration. I’m hoping someone on the forum has a manual I could copy or maybe someone can point me to a site where I can obtain an electronic copy of the manual.

I appreciate you taking to time to read my post and thank you in advance for your assistance.

You might try contacting Powermatic directly and see if the archived that manual. They are usually responsive to such requests.

I recently bought a used Powermatic Model 84 disk/belt sander. I searched for a good while looking for an online resource. All I found were reprints for sale. I did however discover that the Wilton 4210 and the Jet J-$210 are nearly identical to the PM 84. I’m not familiar with the 83 but maybe this will work for you?

Thanks to everyone for the feedback and responses. I contacted Powermatic Customer Support, in less than 8 hours, they sent me a electronic copy of the manual. Awesome customer support.
