There’s a funky technical thing that’s been going on in LJs lately, and I think I’m not alone. If you find that, when you hit “reply” on a PM, before you have a chance to start your message, the page refreshes to the original message, hit the esc key once or twice. That keeps it from doing that. It’ll also do that after you click “send message,” refreshing to the message you just typed, and making you think it didn’t get sent. Before doing anything, open a new LJs instance in a new tab or window, go to your messages/sent messages, and confirm that the message was, indeed, sent, before closing the first one. I sent the same message to Charlie twice yesterday, before I figured that out.

Haven’t seen that issue here. Working fine for me.
Maybe it’s something to do with you living over there on “The Left Coast” :-)

I haven’t experienced this issue yet, but I will watch for it.

Can you let me know what device you’re using to access the site? (Computer, tablet, or phone?)

Which browser are you using?

Just sent you a test PM. Seemed to work OK for me

Are you, by any chance, using Firefox as your browser? I ask because I posted a similar problem on the Site Feedback forum. See my thread “Bouncing Back A Page On Firefox.” It seems to be occurring just with Firefox and I’ve had it on both my computers. Try another browser for the time being until someone at Lumberjocks can fix it.

When using my phone and tapping quote, it jumps to the top if the page; very annoying. But no problem here with PMs.

Cricket, laptop, Firefox.
ddockstader, I was using Chrome til about a month ago. I was having massive problems with it. So I returned to FF. I haven’t checked IE lately. That thing’s been a nightmare to me.
REick, it should jump to your comment pane when you hit “quote.”
