I am new to Lumberjocks, and relatively new to forums in general. I am always looking for deals on woodworking tools, hardware and accessories on eBay, Craigslist, etc. Unfortunately, as good as many of the deals are, I often can’t afford them…but I know a good deal when I find one! So I would like to share some of these deals with my new friends at Lumberjocks…so to start out, I thought I would simply ask if this is the correct place to do so?
Most recent find that I can’t afford: A huge Amana Router Bit store display case (from a closed woodworking store) on eBay…$11,000 worth of router bits for $4,000! Now if I only had $4,000!! It might make a nice going away present for Norm…or a good buy for a woodworking school.
Seriously, though, if this is the right place, I would like to share the occasional realistic deal (I am retired…don’t work for anyone…not pushing any particular product or business…not getting anything for it). If this is the right place, please let me know…perhaps a blog would be a better place? Your ideas would be appreciated.
