Anyone familiar with this model? Tried looking it up but couldn’t find it. Its listed for only $50. Seems like a beast of a sander!

Not familiar but it looks like a nice piece of equipment for 50 bucks. I would grab it in a minute.

I’m so mad I didn’t see this craigslist post earlier today. He responded, and said it was taken already! What a bummer!

Something doesn’t seem right. Description says it’s a 4×36” belt and a 10” disc. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a 4×36 with any more than a 6” disc. Also, if it is a 4×36, that means that one side of the belt would be at most 18” long, and actually a bit shorter than that due to the radius of the rollers. If that is the case, the disc doesn’t look anywhere near 10” compared to the length of the belt (looks more like the more typical 6”). I’m thinking that this may be a case of OWWM Rule #1:

At any rate, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to go check it out in person anyway… might be a 6×48 instead :)

Cheers,
Brad

Edit: Whoops… I see it’s already gone… oh well, OWWM Rule #5 seems more appropriate now.

Ditto that, just looks funny, no table in front of the disk, or is that the back side of the disk? Does the belt drop flat so you can use it as a belt sander?

I missed out on a vintage Delta BS with a original retirement light for 100$, shucks, could sell the light for 75$, it is like woman/SO, loose one, like a missed buss, another one comes along in a few minutes.

Yeah, you have you move quick to get good deals. Every tool junkie is keeping their eye on craigslist. It looks like your typical Chinese sander, possibly Harbor Freight or a similar brand.
