Topic tags/keywords: vaneer walnut figure

I looking for any info on how to tape together vaneer sheets from start to finnish? I guess u have to joint one edge tape and glue to substraight?

I’m tring to make a book matched top for a box, and i have some nice walnut vaneer with a very nice figure. I tried to just put some together to see how it would look but the edges didn’t match up straight enough so i just need info on how i can get it to line up straight so i get a nice box top?

I’ve got a blog on veneering. It’s making a chess surface but the cutting and sanding nthe edges are still the same.
