In designing a small table (to hold my CPAP with humidifier and to store the hose and mask during the day), I’ve come across a design issue on which I’d like your input. The table will be a simple legs-with-stiles design with plywood infill panels. The top bottom and single inner shelf will be plywood with the top encased in a solid wood frame. There will be a door on the front and the top will have a piano hinge at the rear to allow me to raise top to be able to fill the humidifier and access the hose and mask. My question concerns the front door. How would you build and attach it? (If someone can tell me how – or where to learn how – I’ll attach the SketchUp drawing.) rh -- RHH - Temple, Texas, USA |
