I just had to pass this on…

I still have a hard time seeing how he did it…

... and without a bandsaw!!

Built a small row Boat (that you can get in) out of one single 2 x 4 x 8'...

That was a COOL video… AND Launch!

I wonder if the Outrigger was part of The 2×4… (I doubt it) :)

The part made out of “only a 2×4” would leak a LOT.
The boat made out of a 2×4 and some sheet plastic is slightly more useful…... but not much sadly.
Still an interesting project if one has too much time on one’s hands.

Well, it was apparently a competition with defined material criteria… so I’m not sure the usefulness of the end result was the primary concern. However, replace the plastic sheet with a couple layers of fiberglass and you would have a pretty nice boat for the kids ;)
