Yesterday the Washington DC area got about an inch of snow and ppl were stuck in traffic on the Capital Beltway for 3-4 hrs and some even elected to sleep in their cars. With the media hyping this snow storm the only conclusion I have now is we are all going to DIE horrible deaths crushed in avalanches.

I do find the hysteria around here funny. Did you get your milk and bread?

Sorry if it hurts, but I have never heard of anyone in DC having even the least amount intelligence. Always avoid living near that has a star on the map. It don’t mean that it has TEXICO service.

Maybe why Obama is pushing funds to self-drive cars as they realize they can’t do it themselves.

Shoveling this snow sucks big time. I made a single path to the end of my driveway before I wanted to take a break, gonna be a long day.

We had to decide to just dig out one car…piles were getting way to high to get both out.

Not sure how much I even got, my driveway has spots with about 10 inches and other spots that are easily 2ft.

Just where to put all this snow was a pain, I don’t see being able to get my truck out for a week.

When I lived in the northern plain states, we did not name winter storms. We just figured it was well, winter.
But by gosh, the morons on the Weather Channel just have to hype everything to the max.

Especially for the east coast.

Saw this yesterday – - really? Someone on the street spent the entire weekend in their car.
Don’t recall Friday being so bad that one couldn’t (if stuck) have walked to a home/business within 20 minutes in the area around DC. It isn’t like she is miles from a building.

They show the car and you can see the street and porch lights of the neighboring houses.
She is lucky to be alive, sleeping in the car for 3 nights.

Even if she couldn’t get the door open couldn’t she have rolled down a window and shimmied out?

Have your say...
