Interested if anyone is going to the Detroit Woodworking Show (Feb 26th thru 28th)? The show was not as good as previous shows held in the area, mainly due to the smaller size and location (at Gilbraltar Trade Center, Macomb County). It’s at the Gilbraltar Trade Center in Taylor MI this year… about 2 hour drive for me, but I’ll give it a try! I’ve never been to this location, so hopefully it is better!

While this post is over a year old it did make me wonder how this year’s wood working show went. Any body go to it who is willing to comment?

I stopped in on my way from Michigan to NY (for a family Christmas visit)... the show was fair… very crowded (not as much by people, but by the close-quarters the show was setup in). Same setup as last year, but very narrow and limited aisle ways. The vendor participation looked about the same… smaller than the previous shows we have had out here in years past.
