I hope he didn’t get the same virus I did.

That is a bummer. We don’t realize how much dependency that we have developed for these boxes until something like this happens. I hope he gets back on line before the withdrawal symptoms set in. :)

This is exactly why I never let my computer borrow my truck.

Mine is still crawling, but it can carry on…Installed the new version AVG 9. 2010 (scanning duration a bit longer than previous version), uses alot of disk space, so I have to squeez a bit, so I have less time for woodworking, so, so so…dang it trojan.

Jockmike 2 is back online with a computer on loan while I get his up and running. Had an awesome vist with him and his wife. Toured his shop and he gave us a bowl that he had just turned on the lathe. His computer has been admitted to Rustics Rehabilitation retreat for a well deserved rest.

Yea Charlie that’s with a finger missing! With blood still dribbling out of the gapping hole in the end of my finger I still got out there in sub zero temps without heat or gloves, with pancakes folded over for mittons, got that one from my mom, and then ate my mittons for lunch. Then slept in a cardboard box in the middle of the road, cause I didn’t have a place to sleep. And you tell kids that today and they won’t believe you. Poor Rustic Rick had three computers he was working on, after awhile I thought he might be playing the Pea and Shell game with me. He lost me, he looked like a mad Scientist after 8 hours, and 30 cups of coffee. Talking about cpu and cpo and ISPs and FUBARS. I told him I was in the Army and knew that last one, he said “OH” then his head disappeared under my desk again. I heard more grunts and groans Like that Dad in “A Christmas Story”. Then he said at 11pm “SNOTAFINGGA” can I take your computer home Mike, I said sure as long as I’m on line I’m happy. >GRINZ< Hello everyone, I sure missed you!!!!!!!!!! Even you Charlie. lol

Rustic, maybe he just forget to feed the hamster.

Or maybe, in technical terminology, it’s a PEBCAK issue.

I think It’s that one Charlie.

He tried to send me an email with an attachment and I got the email and not the attachment. (Twice)

If that was the virus, then I don’t want it.

You too Karson, man you guys, the blood ain’t even dry and you’re already dividing up my tools. You guys are hard man! I need some help here!!! Where’s my ole Pal Larry?

Pay them no mind Mike. As far as I can tell your computer is fine. I still need to run a scan and install 1 program for ya. Will monitor it until Friday when I bring it home to you. Looks like it just needed some TLC.
