Topic tags/keywords: mobile lumber cart

This is from Steve Ramsey’s plans; it sure makes a difference on not having to nearly kill myself when I need to find a piece of material to use now.

2 1/2 sheets of plywood ….. 4’ wide

Interesting, wish I had floor space to use in this manner.

I saw this style cart while on Pintrest last week and was thinking about making one myself. Smart design. I also like the horizontal rack system you got going on there.

I built one also and love it. Problem is that I overloaded it with in a week and need a second one. :)

Do yourself a favor and reinforce the lip board on the opposite side of the bins. Mine was screwed and glued. You will soon overload it (yes you will) and you’ll get to witness a `lumber scrap avalanche `

You have more screws in yours so you might be alright

It looks easy to make to. Something I should look into making. Only thing is I would probably need two of them. With all the lumber I have.

No matter how much space you have or think you need… you will quickly fill it up and want more. It’s some sort of cosmic rule or something :)

Cheers,
Brad

Howdy fd_cox, or Floyd,

Thanks for all the comments, Brad your probably right, I keep saying if I just could expand my shop out another 8 – 10 ’ then I would have enough room.
