Ok, so you have all offered great assistance in narrowing down my selection of a bandsaw. Your views and reviews have narrowed my search down to the following (in no order of preference):

1 Grizzly 17” GO513X2B;
2 Grizzly 14” GO457; and
3 Rikon 14” deluxe 10-325.

Please let me know which way you would go out of these 3. Please also let me know, if you had to choose between the 2 14” saws which you would go for any why.

Thanks,
G

Woodcraft has the 18” Rikon on sale in Feb for $999 if you are interested in going a bit larger.

Rikon 10-325. Why you ask? Cause I’m very satisfied with the one I have. Another reason is their customer service. I had two occasions where I needed to contact Rikon’s CS about some questions I had about my saw. Both times my questions were dealt with in a professional manner and they wouldn’t let me off the phone until I assured them that they had done all they could to make me happy. It’s hard to put a price tag on good customer service but when you need it, its priceless.

Have your say...
