Hello all,

I just recieved the latest flyer from WoodCraft. They are advertizing an 18”, 2.5HP, Rikon bandsaw for $999 ($300 off). It is spec’ed as having 12” resaw capacity, 2 speeds, quick release blade tension. It has roller bearing guides (upper). I will have to investigate the model number a bit more for details (model 10-345) I think that is the Rikon model number.

I have been shopping for an 18” (or larger) bandsaw. If anyone has any experience with this saw or any opinions on whether or not this is a good deal, I would appreciate the feedback.

the rikon line is an excellent brand, the 18” for $999 is a very good deal. probably the best deal on the market at this time. wish i had the cash.
