Plan to add a separate room for dc. It will be a hf 2hp and I am wondering if a straight 10’ run of pvc with a 6’ pic of flex to connect to my TS and band saw with a quick connect. Will the 10’ run make the effect the do capabilities severely or am I looking at something negligible. Will be connecting to one machine at a time.

Thanks

The 10’ of PVC will have a minor impact. It’s a lot better than adding 10’ of flex.

I have a 2hp cyclone that runs about 20’ before it splits into two branches, then runs about another 25’ for each branch with wyes to the various machines and it works fine. However, not all 2hp motors are created equal. You should be fine with only 16’ of run.

Lol did have a plan to only have to have a 6’ span of flex but the wife wants storage also so that got scrapped. Of course the separate room got increased in size as well
