Can anyone give me a thumbs up or down on the Baileigh 12”, 52” table saw? I am very interested but really would like one with a scoring motor, as well as digital readout. I would like to keep price around 3500.00. Any suggestions?

I’m pretty sure one of our members won a saw in a Baileigh contest here.

There aren’t all that many plants where these saws come from….their hybrid saw looks to come from the same factory as the Laguna Fusion, their 3hp cabinet saw looks to be the same as the Laguna Platinum and Grizzly G0690. Not sure about the 12”, but overall they have a decent reputation AFAIK.

I agree with Scott on this one. I bought a Steel City shaper 2nd hand and needed parts. Call SC before they closed their door and wasn’t able to get the part. Looked all over the Internet for the part unable to come up with it. Started looking at simular machine and found that the Laguna and Craftex in Canada was the same unit as well as the SC. I ended up getting the part from Craftex since Luguna didn’t have it in stock. I spoke with tech support from Luguna and Steel City and both said it was made by the Harvey Compamy in China.

The PROFESSIONAL CABINET TABLE SAW TS-1248P-36 is exactly the same and I mean EXACTLY the same as the Grizzly 0696, but doesn’t have the digital readout for the rip capacity. The Grizzly is $2250, much cheaper than the Baileigh.

Have your say...
