Several months ago I picked up a really nice, almost new, not a scratch on it Grizzly 2 HP DC for a song. It was cheap. $100.00 and he threw in four 3/4” Jorgensen pipe clamps(with pipes) to sweeten the deal. He said the DC worked great but wanted another one because it took two people and a lot of time to change out the lower bag, especially to get it back on as it would constantly fall off unless someone (read wife) was holding it up. I finally got it hooked up this month and had to empty the bag.

It took me a good fifteen minutes to back that stubborn buggered screw out of the bracket far enough to slip it up over the bag and loosen the tabs. I made a mental note, ‘There has got to be a better way, like replacing this stupid oversized hose clamp with speed clamp band. No wonder this guy and his wife hate this DC.’ As I wrestled the bag out I looked at the top bag and sure enough, there it was. A latching band clamp band. When this guy put it together, he put the bottom band on the top bag and vice-versa.

-- My greatest fear is that when I die, my wife will sell all my stuff for what I told her I bought it for.
