kbkindle i just bought about 300 bd feet of what i would call select it has a couple knots in a 8 ft board
bought it from a guy that was guiting wood working. dont know why i bought that much around here
walnut is not the wood a lot of people want i bought it in sawmill cut planed about 3 boards yesterday just to see wood looks great has some great grain in it . will make something out of it kb

Forget the pictures of ugly old walnut!! As you said “around here
walnut is not the wood a lot of people want”. I’ll email you my address and you can send that ugly old wood to me!!!
I have some family that bought a bunch from someone here in sc and has used it as door, and baseboard moldings in her home. Turned out beautiful but every time I visit I dream of all the things I could build with it if she would just take a long vacation.

Just kidding about the pics. I want to see it and what you end up building. Keep us updated.
