What’s up guys? I’m new to woodworking and want to build a 2 seat attached bench separated by a small table. I’m looking for either cedar or red wood for this project. Anyone have good place I can buy my lumber in long island New York??

You can take a little ride up the road and hit Downes and Reader in Milford CT. I was there a few months back and they’ve got a really nice selection of lumber and even had a sale on some 6 footers that they ship down from Mass. Got cherry for around $3/bf.

Give Riverhead Building Supplies (in Calverton) a ring. They have lumber the branch stories don’t carry

Kleet Lumber in Huntington may have what you are looking for.

Roberts plywood may also.

Home Depot and Lowes also have the cedar
