Small-time handyman and DIYer…birdhouses, firewood holders, trim, etc….nothing heirloom quality.

I grew up using a Delta 36-600 and despit it being loud it always did exactly what I wanted. Now I need a new tablw saw but can’t (damn wife) spend more than $150.

So I can wait until Lowe’s sells their Kobalt portable on sale, or pick up a MINT CONDITION Delta 34-670 for $120.

Which would be the better value/make me the happiest?

Thanks!

No question.. The Delta. Metal motor instead of a plastic one alone is worth the price of admission.

Cheers,

The 34-670 is pretty much the same thing as the 36-600. I used one for years and it works great. I would definitely get that.
