Topic tags/keywords: felder saw shaper planer jointer combination machine for sale deal philadelphia craigslist

I saw this machine for sale in Philadelphia and was wondering if it was a good deal. I’m starting a new shop up and the idea of getting all machines at once appealed to me. Thanks in advance.

Felder makes some very high quality machines. I own a 2004 KF700SP saw/shaper combo. The newer sliders have what is called the X-roll design and they are very smooth and accurate. The older pre X-roll machines are good. The BF series machines are one step down from the K series machines. You might want to ask someone on the FOG ( Felder Owners Group ) at Yahoo groups. It is well worth your time to do some checking on the Felders.

Good Luck, John

Felder makes great stuff, and their customer service is outstanding. I started to look at the Hammer jointer/planer about three months ago (I can’t get it right now because I am living away from the shop) I havent even bought it yet and Andy, my sales rep phones me about once a month to see how everything is going and to see if I have any more questions about the machine or anything else, to me this speaks volumes about the customer service of Felder Group, I plan to purchase the Hammer jointer/planer over the summer when I get back to my home shop and I will be writing a review on after a few months of use.
