Topic tags/keywords: melia azedarach chinaberry wood type

Hi, everyone.
Question about the type of wood.
Do you think the melia azedarach/Chinaberry is Suitable for outdoor use?
and if so is there a way to make it more like a pine wood ?

No. Does not hold up well outside. I don’t see how to make it look like pine. Very ring porous and very coarse grained.

Click on the pic in this link to see the grain.

I have sawn and dried a bunch of it.
