Hello everyone!

I am Jeff and currently live in Palm Coast, FL. I am as about as new as it gets to woodworking but I am going to give it a shot. I have always had an interest in it but now want to take the plunge.

I look forward to reading of all the tips and tricks as well as ask questions and share future projects.

Any start up advice would be much appreciated.

Jeff

Welcome to the group. You got a question, ask it. You got a problem, tell it. You got an opinion, share it. I promise you will receive a response.

Startup advice…start simple… read, watch, learn and do.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. Don’t go insane and melt every credit card you have buying high dollar tools all at once. LOL.

Welcome. Craigslist & Youtube will be helpful. (I’ve found lighting to correlate well with talent & safety in Youtube videos). Be careful and have fun.

Definitely will not be maxing out any credit cards LOL. I’ll be starting out in my 10×12 shed so space will be limited to some smaller hobby projects.

Thank you. I’ve worked with saws and such before. My dad was a very good trim carpenter until he retired so I won’t be a complete stranger. However I do agree that safety can never be overlooked.

Have your say...
