Did anyone else jump on this?

I got an email from Woodcraft a week or so ago offering free shipping, and this set of Bessey clamps was featured in the ad for $29.99. I’ve been looking around, and the best prices I can find for all these clamps, if purchased individually, total up to something approaching $100.

Unfortunately, the set is no longer on Woodcraft’s web page as of this morning. I wish I had purchased more than one set.

Nice buy. Wish I had seen them. Oh well, maybe next time, if there is a next time.

I like the standoffs on those pipe clamps, that’s great feature. Only I’d have to buy 12 of ‘em to replace the Jorgensen clamps I own. And then of course keep the Jorgensens right where they are in the rack.

Topa, I was a little skeptical. It seemed like such a good price, I was afraid they were going to be some cheaped-down version of the originals, or miniature, or something. :-)

By the time I had them in hand so I could feel good about letting everyone know, they were gone.

It does pay to be cautious, especially when it sounds too good to be true. You got lucky, this time it was too good to be true, but it was!! That may be a first in internet history :-))

I got the same deal at my local Woodcraft Store about a year ago. I love the small bar clamps. Absolutely well worth the price. I didn’t notice the ad this time or I would have bought another set.

Yeah, I saw this deal and wanted to order this too but hard to convince the boss (wife) to let me spend anymore money as I just bought a new jig saw, a table saw and various little things like a pocket hole jig and a doweling jig. Wish I could have grabbed these too cause I could use some more clamps.

And by the way, if anyone is looking for some 48” Jet Speed Bar Clamps, they are on sale at Rockler right now for $19.99 a piece. It says it’s an online only sale though so you’d have to order them.
