I am hoping that someone can help me. I am a teacher and my computer died last week taking some of my great resource lists with it. (i know, i know, i should have had it backed up better)
I had found a website that had really great information on lumber grades with pictures and specifications for different grades.
I think the site was run by a lumber mill, but I can’t find it anymore. I would love any help.
Thanks
MrsN

The National Hardwood Lumber Assn (NHLA) has a bunch of info on the grading and measurement of hardwood lumber. You can get a download of “the guide to inspection and measurement of Hardwood Lumber” from Amazon-the kindle store for $0.99(first download the kindle for PC free software). A comprehensive manual with full grading rules and illustrations can be had from NHLA- “NHLA inspection training manual-Guide to general instructions & Standard grades for measurement and inspection of hardwood lumber” They also have grading courses both short (1 week) ond long for certified graders (6 months)
