I’ll be smiling all day, anyway. The picture made me chuckle.

That’s WHY Keith’s feeling down…..he got some bad news at work, and flashes of our life from 6 months to a year ago came rushing back to us. Just when we feel like we’re finally starting to get caught up…paying bills on time and keeping up with the rent, etc….
Now, another set back…...lack of customers at work= laid off (unfortunately). That’s just the way I’m TRYING to look at it too…as a mere set back. It’s very disapointing, but we survived it last time and we’ll survive it again. I know we will because we HAVE to. The only difference now is that besides he and I and my 2 kids, we also have his daughter and brother living with us now….so there’s 6 of us to support instead of just 4 like last time. His brother was working at the same shop and got laid off as well.

Luckily Keith has always known how to treat his OWN past customers, so little by little we’re getting calls from some of them wanting something new. Hopefully THAT will be our saving grace to help get us through.

And YES…..that cute little furry guy DID make me smile : )

Ok, I smiled. :)

And Kolwdwrkr, sorry to hear about being laid off. Keep your head up though, you’ve proven to all of us you are a survivor. And with a woman like that by your side, there’s nothing you can’t do!
