I just ran across this site and am amazed at the amount of material relating to woodworking, particularly sharpening and edged hand tools:

Thanks Jim Crockett there is a lot of good info there and for the perfect book on EVERYTHING that needs that scary sharpening read Ron Hocks “The Perfect Edge” an amazing book. (Sorry I had to plug his book because it is that good!)
