With that season approaching I am considering going to the show either in Baltimore or Chantilly.

Who else goes to the shows? Why?

I’ve gone to three of them, buy a few things but mostly just to look around and talk to folks.

I used to go to the cow palace, never really purchased anything, haven’t been for 2 years now.

The last one i went to was in Fredericksburg, it wasn’t nearly as big, not sure if that was a trend or it just wasn’t supposed to be as big as the one at the Cow Palace.

I don’t think I ever bought more than $100 of stuff but it was fun to look around. I did enjoy watching Alex Snodgrass’s band saw demo.

The Lee Valley/Veritas area was memorable, but isn’t Timonium a really long drive for you?

Pretty much everywhere is a long drive for me with this awful road system. Its a bit less than 2hrs.

That is not bad at all. Last time we went I didn’t get anything and my wife only got a pen mandrel.

Are there any of these shows in Georgia? Augusta? Atlanta?

Joe, there used to be one in Norcross (area). Check with Highland. They’ll know.

I usually go to the Baltimore one. I buy a bunch of tools and supplies there.

When I lived near St. Louis. It got continuously worse as the years went by. Not been in ages. Did buy a drill press there.

I was planning to attend the show in Baltimore this coming weekend, however saw that it was finally coming back to Chantilly. Planning to go there instead, happy to see it returning to Virginia.

Drop me PM if you are going to go in ATL. I plan on going on Friday April 1st. Maybe we can met up?
