Just saw on CL a restored 1951 Unisaw, with original fence, for $700 CDN. No pictures though. Everybody say older unisaws are considered as good if not better than newer ones, and I’m curious if there are any tradeoffs with a 59 years old saw.

Is that a reasonable price for a restored unisaw? And if I do go check it out, what do I need to pay attention to or look out for?

You probably either bought or passed on this already so I was wondering what you did? Did you get any feedback on what to look for? I am currently scanning the internet and local auctions hoping to find a good saw myself so was wondering what advice you may have gotten.
