Was I dreaming when I heard about a Lumberjocks type site dedicated to home building? Must of been a dream. Two wonderful sites like this would just be too much! What was I thinking!

I had heard that Martin was doing 2 more sites, one on gardening and one on homebuilding. I guess the rumor is well founded??

I’m pretty sure he mentioned it in a blog somewhere… perhaps a response to someone.

I think it was in his blog asking if we wanted to contribute to this site,

Dennis,

You weren’t dreaming. Martin, according to this blog http://lumberjocks.com/jocks/msojka/blog/2182 is working on two sister web sites. One for gardening and one for homebuilding….. He mentions it about half way into the blog…

Home building is right down my alley and it sounds like a great idea.

Martin’s just looking to keep me online 24/7.

Scott – no kidding. I have a vision of me with two browser windows open, switching back and forth to click two “Pulse” buttons, and not accomplishing a single thing in the real world!

I’d like to advise against a gardening site. You see my wife is an avid gardener and when I mentioned that there was talk of a gardening site by the same fella who started LumberJocks, she went ga-ga. Now, if the gardening site is anything like LJ, then she will be spending as much or more time there than I spend here. What that boils down to is that I won’t be able to spend as much time here and I may never see supper again. While I’m quite sure that there will be nothing but quality in the site, with it’s arrival I see little but loneliness and hunger in my future.

Miles…bare places in the yard…sounds like you need the help of a gardenjocks.
