I was handed this bench vice a while ago by a neighbor when I was planning on building my own bench. Then I was given an opportunity to get an Ulmia, so I don’t need it any more. I tried to return it, but the neighbor doesn’t want it back. I was thinking of selling it, because there are still a bunch of tools on my “need” list.

Anyone have any inkling as to what something like this is worth? Should I try to sell it, or just hold onto it for posterity?

No idea what it is worth, but you might find this interesting.

cool vise, thats got some character
If you don’t have a use for it i’d say clean it up and save it, but i love cool old hardware like that.

About $25 to $50 bucks depending on how you sell it. Its at least worth $25 even at a yard sale if you find the right person. You probably won’t get more than $50 though, because of the damage to the front.

By the way, this is what I do for a living.
