I couldn’t find a picture of this anywhere. Does this look bad? We have a big 4×8 1/2” sheet of birch plywood, and I was going to make a bread box for my mother.

What you should do is try a sample piece and see how you like the joint, then go from there. Make sure you use a good backer behind the plywood when making the cuts to help keep down the tear out.
