I have watched a lot of video from this website in the last 24 hours.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClPa3pmqKwApysaYi7B7Nlg

They are fascinating and the craftsmanship is excellent.
In addition there are many good tricks to learn, like on this video:

I hope that you will enjoy these videos as much as I do.

One of the better demonstrations I’ve seen. He stays on topic, gets right to the point, and doesn’t babble on like so many U tubers do. The difference between rid and white oak was more pronounced than I would have guessed.

Yes, I think that these videos are some of the very best (with Paul Sellers) I ever saw.
I was very surprised to see how the red oak sucks liquid.
I love hos trick to locate exiting screw holes (and many more)

I agree Bert. I just watched the opening clip. Wow! What an amazing video. Looking forward to some free time so I can watch the rest. Thank you for posting this.

Pardon the language please Bert but boatbuilders in my part of the world refer to red oak as “piss oak”.
Another colourful favourite of mine is “jungle cedar”, for Philippine mahogany. Neither should be used for boat building. I’ve replaced a fair bit of rotten piss oak and jungle cedar over the years. :-)
