01/11/10

During a discussion in the forums the topic of an LJ Calendar popped up again and so I spent a few hours and put one together.

.
So here it is: our first official LumberJocks Calendar.

Click on the “preview” button to see what it looks like. A small profit will go to LumberJocks.com to support the site.
.

Note: when ordering, be sure to select your preferred shipping option—some options are ridiculous in price.
I’ve never used the Lulu program to create a calendar before so I can’t vouch for the finished product.

While you are at it check the other one too. They both take me to “Not As Cute As Ms. Debbie P” posting.

Debbie, does the calender have any events like woodworking shows in it. If not perhaps we could make an international one up from local knowledge of all our Jocks. Anyone travelling interstate or overseas could then see what is coming up & perhaps attend. What do you think?. I would be happy to help out.

I didn’t add any events to the calendar, other than our Winter and Summer Awards.
We’ll have to get Martin’s opinion on the woodworking shows. I know that with our new Events Calendar that LJ events are posted for free and there is a fee for other advertising events.

If we want another calendar for next year we can start working on contents now (special pictures etc.)
Other than that, we’ll need Martin’s input.
