A large party of Taliban soldiers are moving down

a road when they hear a voice call from behind a sand-dune.

“One Australian soldier is better than ten Taliban.”

The Taliban commander quickly sends 10 of
his best soldiers over the dune ;

whereupon a gun-battle breaks out

and continues for a few minutes, then silence.

The same voice then calls out:

“One Australian is better than a hundred Taliban soldiers.”

Furious, the Taliban Commander sends his next best 100 troops over the dune

And instantly a huge gunfight commences.

After 10 minutes of battle, again silence.

The Aussie voice called:

“One Australian is better than one thousand Taliban”.

The enraged Taliban Commander musters a thousand fighters

and sends them over the dune.

Cannon, rocket and machine gun fire rings out
as a huge battle is fought. Then silence.

Finally, one wounded Taliban fighter crawls back over
the sand-dune and, with his dying words, tells his commander,

“Don’t send any more men, its a trap. There’s two of them.”

I always enjoy a good laugh, at it sounds like this “joke” is a true stroy?

That was great, I had to pass it on to my email list, in Vietnam I had the pleasure of drinking with some Auatralians and they are the real deal.

Good one!....Very true in most cases…..I would also suggest you don’t try to outdrink them either…LOL…I shared barracks with several Aussies soldiers when I was overseas….we had great times, they had some of the best senses of humor…and they sure loved the practical jokes….lol

Very good Larry. Me thinks this to be true from what my cousin told me about his fellow Aussies he fought with in Nam. He said they were absolutely fearless in battle, he should know, he was with the 25th Inf. Div. “The Wolfhounds.” He spent months in the bush. He said the Cong were scared sh*tless of them.
