I want tonstate that you try to to keep machines under the garage door, when it rains, it could drip water into your machine surfaces, ended up with rust on them.

Similar advice for overhead sweaty cold water lines, drippy drains and refrigerators with clogged drains. I’ve all three, but luckily not over my side of the basement. Sorry to hear about your first hand experience.

The worst is drooling over the tools. Makes them rusty real fast.

I hear you and I have removed rust a many times for all reasons. Drippy door, drool, sweat. And possibly tears once when I nicked my finger on the table saw blade.

Don’t leave your half full beer or pop cans on your table saw. Half full beer cans! What heathen leaves a can of beer half full? That’s so unmanly of you!!!

I use the coffee rings as measurement markers.

Yea whenever it’s raining or has a lot I don’t open my garage because of this, or I put a piece of cardboard over my stuff and check it once it’s closed.

Uhm! I bet putting them on rails would sure make them easier to move out of the way! If I ever make it to a abandond mine, im going to steal the rails and try this out in my garage!
