I live in Norwich, NY. I have loads of trees down that are left over from logging. I am considering having someone come in with a portable mill. We’ll cut up what we can, you get half, I get half. There are several species, Oak, Maple, Ash, etc.

Send me a PM if interested.

Dave, I would be interested, but am disabled and wouldn’t be able to help with the milling. Can you PM me with more details on what you have in mind? Since this is my 1st post, I can’t PM you.
Thanks,
John

Did you ever find someone to help out?

Nope, No Takers. I would think people would jump at such a chance like this.

If’n I were closer, I would bring my Alaskan mill over and have a lumber cutting party.. ;-)

Do you have a ballpark on what it would cost? What would be expected of us to do? Thanks.

I would be interested if you had a place to store it for me until this summer. I’m from Windsor but live in NC, but come up to drop the kids off for the summer. Let me know, what the costs would be for the milling.

Essentially I am looking for someone with a portable bandsaw mill to bring it in, set it up on my property and I will bring in the logs to cut. I don’t even mind running the mill myself. You get half, I get half of the lumber cut.
