i just got my newsletter from American WoodWorker mag
they had a article, from their archives, on home made bar clamps that i built a few years ago from their magazine
if memory serves, it seems like i built 4 50” clamps for about $60 and had a bunch of material left over,
8/4 hickory, threaded rod, nuts etc. and also got to build something.
they still work very well
i’ll try to get some pics when the snow lets me back in the shop

Everytime I think of a tool I want to build and Google it, the results are those of somebody from Lumberjocks; you guys are good, really good. These clamps are really cool.

The american woodworker ones are pretty nice looking, I’d like to make some but the list is long and time is short. I still need to build a rack to store the clamps I have.

Mikeberry, that’s a great line about the door.
