maybe you should put up a picture of the plane so we can see what you have i only looked on the net and for $39 thats cheap i my books maybe i’m wrong

Andy I was thinking of the same thing a photo would help for sure, it maybe junk or it could be an expensive tool, it sure looks well made.

I’ve seen some reviews of Footprint planes on Amazon, not the best, certainly not the worst… Needs some lapping, sharpening, filing etc… to bring out the performance in it…

I think footprint are pretty good they make excellent wrenches but they are closing down in England as most of their stuff was reduced by half it’s original price recently a few weeks back through one of my engineering suppliers.Not a cheap company at all similar to rekord stuff actually.

Thanks Alistair it’s a good looking and well build plane I will have a picture of it tomorrow. I said I had it for 10 years and never used but I had it way over 10 years more like 25.
I use my Dad’s old wooden plane witch is about 2 ft. long.
