I had to share this with you all , especially all the Americans on here. This is one great piece of choreography and execution, much like we try to do in woodworking only at a much greater level.

Enjoy, my friends!!

Great patriotic spectacle Jim. That said, I still think Michigan has the best marching band of all. That in turn reminds me of the best football game I’ve ever attended, when UCLA defeated Michigan State at the Rose bowl in 1966. What a game! I’ll never forget it.

Thanks! I always enjoy seeing these. Being a former “Band Geek” I can relate to the work that goes into these shows.

Thanks for sharing that one Jim … All of the woodwind instruments (except the flute) have reeds, so this does relate to wood.
Joe, I too stomped all over the field in the band.

Jim that was pretty darn cool. Unlike Joe and Mike I find playing music very hard. I even sometimes find it hard to play a radio.

Graduated from WVU and grew up only 30 mins away. “The Pride of WV” is one of the greatest college marching bands there is, always looked forward to their performances pregame and halftime.

Also a former band geek.

Yes indeed. Always nice to see this kind of thing at the games instead of some fool whaling our Star Spangled Banner. That’s a song that need to be sang, not whaled. imo
