The Freud LU88R010 Blade is on sale at Amazon for $39.99, about $20 lower than its usual price. This blade is a 10-Inch 60 Tooth ATB Thin Kerf Crosscutting Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor and PermaShield Coating. The blade is highly rated on forums, and is a top choice in Scott Spencer’s Table Saw Blade Comparisons article.

I bought this blade several months ago and it has become my go-to blade, providing clean, burn-free crosscuts and rip cuts up to 1”.

Yeah, the LU88 was one of my favorites for a saw under 3hp. That’s the best price I’ve seen in a while….knowing Amazon, that price may not last long.

Even though it’s listed as a “crosscut blade”, it has an unusually steep hook angle of 15° that allows it rip pretty impressively in upwards of 6/4” materials, so it actually makes a darn nice general purpose blade if you don’t need to rip really thick stuff.
