I thought I’d share two recent awards and a write-up abour my reproduction furniture and carving:

1. Popular Woodworking Editor’s Choice & Reader’s Choice. The third & eighth photos are mine: Bible box and the William & Mary spice box on frame. Roger Bean, fellow LumberJock and master box maker, has the second piece pictured, and also won an award. Glad I could brag abour Roger here!

It’s times like this when I reclassify myself from an intermediate to a novice woodworker. Those are way impressive.

I appreciate the comments.

It’s also my pleasure to show off Roger Bean’s award for his beautiful boxes. Roger does some great work and is always willing to share his knowledge.

Thanks folks,

Bonesbr549,

I wish I had time to do some teaching. Reality is I work 2-3 weeks/month away from home & shop! So, my shop time is rather limited. It takes me many months to complete one piece. The Chippendale spice chest on frame in the article took 9 months!
