Greetings ladies and germs: It’s about 8:00 p.m. here tonight in the Ozark Mts. of Arkansas. As of this writing, we have about 4” of snow on the ground, and it’s still coming down a little! It’s supposed to taper off tonight, and be snowless for the next day or two. But by Wedensday and Thrusday, it’s gonna come again. The problem is that it’s gonna be below freezing in the day, and get down to the teens, or at 0. So——I want to know how much snow you all got in your neck of the woods, and is there more coming? Waiting for feedback reports from all over the country, and world. So, let’s hear it…........... -- " Don't ever wrestle a pig in a mudhole....he'll be having more fun than you..!! |

Howdy Rick – here in NE Ohio we have about 4” on the ground, but it has been in the single digits and blowing around 20-30 mph! This takes the wind chill down to -20 or so. Ouch, it hurts to be outside. Hang in there! HNY! -- Before you louse it up, THIMK! |

Northeast Kansas! We have most of the foot we got on Christmas Eve through Dec. 27th, most of the 4 inches we got on Dec. 29th, and about 3 more inches last night-today. Now some melting and some compression, but it is pretty safe to say we have most of 10-11 inches total still sticking around. Expecting some mid wee snows to go along with an expected low of -10 on Friday. |

Rick, in central Kentucky it is about 20 degrees F and there is no snow. And we have had no appreciable snow so far this winter. And I am not a bit sorry. Somehow the thrill of shoveling the driveways has worn off. If I don’t have to shovel any snow this season I will be happy. -- Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful- Joshua Marine |

Our first storm three weeks ago dumped 15.5”, and then we got about an inch of rain Christmas Eve, followed by sub-zero temps. I have frozen slush ruts in my driveway, and have to use 4-wheel drive to get in and out. The last few days it has been too cold to snow (overnight lows in the -15 to -20 degree range). Anybody that misses the thrill of shoveling driveways is welcome to come and take a whack at mine! Just a touch of snow. That’s about 5’ of snow out the back door. Took me two days to get the patio cleared so I could open the door to let the dog out. Glad I didn’t have to hold it that long. lol I still can’t see out the window in my shop. That snow is about 2 feet above the top of the window. -- Chunk's Workshop pictures: http://spadfest.rcspads.com/thumbnails.php?album=135 |
