Thanks to all who took the time to welcome me to LJ. Now, I would like to ask for help for something that many of you may laugh at, but since I am new, please forgive me for asking…..
How the heck do you post pictures to your gallery thingee?
and what the heck am I supposed to post in my workshop?
and last, how much will I get made fun of when I post pics of my crappy projects tha my three year old daughter could do a better job of?

We never make fun of anyone here. We all have something to learn and something to share. Here is a link for posting pictures http://lumberjocks.com/GaryK/blog/8899

For your workshop and projects you can post the pictures directly from your computer. If you want to post pictures to a blog or forum then you will need to follow the above listed link.

Your workshop should be pictures of your shop space. You can post up to 6 pictures.

Your projects will automatically be added to your gallery once you start posting them.

To post project and shop pictures hit the My Lumberjocks tab in the top right hand corner of this page and start posting.

And no your projects will not be laughed at in any way. We tend to be our own worst critics and focus more on the perceived “flaws” than we do the successes of our projects. There are some really cool projects posted here but we all have to start someplace. My first project was a cherry corner corner cabinet that I never did finish. I got the carcass built but it was so bad (in my opinion of course) that it was relegated to the deck as a plant stand.

I am looking forward to seeing some of your posts.

Welcome Hooligan, I agree with Scott, post your projects and you wont be laughed at. What will happen is they will get better as you go on. You will also look at similar items others have posted and get a few ideas for them.
