Thanks all of you for your investigation skills. I ended up with one of the few and rare pieces that seem to be floating around, which is kind of surprising to me. However I got a 6×7.5×14” chunk from Exotic Hardwoods in Ontario. $100 shipping included but the project it’s for is about $2500 so it was worth it – uh oh, now you’re going to be asking me for a finder’s fee!

Nice work on finding a source. Finders fee = 50%, right?
