Has anyone put together a head to head test of the saw stop vs the new unisaw?

why would anyone do that?

these are 2 good saws. both cut wood well. each with their own ‘gimick’.

OHHHHHHHH! Here we go…......
I’ll step aside, and go to the shop where my Grizz 0444Z awaits my beck and call.

Well in my opinion it’s an apples and oranges comparison because the main feature of the SawStop is it’s safety. But if it’s comparable to a UniSaw then that is a plus but my feel is they’re in different classes but that’s not based on specs.

The new issue of Woodworkers Journal has an article on comparing several of these saws.
