Right back at ya! Got most of my family with me so life is good. My son is in the Army and could not make it home, but God willing, he will make it for Christmas.

All eat plenty and blessings to you.

Yes, as Joe said, let all of us in the good old US of A take a moment and thank God for all of the blessings he has bestroyed on this great country.

Besides God and country I am also thankful for my fellow LumberJocks taking time to answer my questions. I look forward to (hopefully) many more years of LumberJocks

I have only one comment, the day after Thanksgiving. I definitely failed at pacing myself (see above note by me), and suffered the consequences. I am thankful for the good heart burn meds we have now, life savers…......(-:

Jim, sorry you got heart burn… I haven’t had any of that stuff since I retired & got rid of ALL the Pressure I was under… and away from beating my head against the Stock Playing World wall… :)

I tried (& succeeded) to restrict my plate filled just a little bit MORE than usual… I ended up pleasantly satisfied. :)

The second Thanksgiving was with a very close Greek family, and so it was very hard to escape without eating because they make such flavorful food, presented in a delightful atmosphere.

.........and the scene is intensified because they own and operate a restaurant.

Now I am not complaining, mind you, it is just that the temptation to keep eating is irresistible….........

..........and therefore it is nobody’s fault but my own….........(-:
