Topic tags/keywords: sharpening chisel

Happy Holidays, everybody!

So I picked up a sample pack of the 3M Micro Abrasive PSA films to sharpen a new set of Narex chisels. I can obviously tell the 15 micron and the 40 micron sheets by the labeling on the sheet, but the others (5, 1 and .3 micron) aren’t labelled. Any idea which is which? There’s a gray, a white and a lime green sheet.

Getting those babies sharp will be a great Christmas break project if I can tell which is which… Thanks in advance for any help.

Tools for Working Wood responded to an email at 8:20 EST with the answer. That’s awesome!

Problem solved.
